Prize World is an update that brings a set of bloom-based game experiences to Nifty Island. Play them at Prize Plaza, our first-party venue built for these games — or on islands created by other players. Creators can also script their own custom bloom experiences.
There are four games at launch.
A racing experience where you call how the race will finish. Put blooms in play on the order you think the racers will cross the line — structure different picks across the field — and correct calls pay out in blooms.
Our lava-arena take on Blackjack. Put blooms in play and go head-to-head with the dealer, aiming to land as close to 21 as you can. Go over and you bust, dropping into the lava below. Finish with a worse hand than the dealer, and the lava rises to engulf you. Beat the dealer to win.
A multiplayer scramble. Put blooms in play, then battle other players to grab orbs scattered across the arena — each carrying a multiplier on your entry. But some orbs hide a bomb. The orbs you carry back to your capture point are revealed at the end of the round and their multipliers summed — unless one turns out to be a bomb, which costs you your entry. The more orbs you chase, the more you stand to win, and the more you risk.
Hop from platform to platform, round by round, climbing toward a bigger multiplier on the blooms you've put in play. Each round, some platforms give way — get caught on one as it falls and you lose your entry. At any point you can leave with your winnings, or push on for a higher multiplier.
All four games live at Prize Plaza, the first-party Prize World venue. They can also be deployed on players' own islands, and creators can script custom bloom experiences of their own.
Blooms are Nifty Island's in-game currency, earned for free by playing — they are never purchased. You can put the blooms you earn into any Prize World game, and you can spend blooms at the gacha for a chance at prizes. (More on the gacha elsewhere.)
