First minted at the genesis of Nifty Island, Legendary Palms are treasured artifacts held by those who have helped push Nifty Island forward—our community of Legends.
Spanning six distinct tiers—from the Iron Palms to the elusive and unmatched Ultra Palms—these relics represent the pinnacle of achievement within the Nifty Island ecosystem. Their limited supply ensures that they remain exclusive and coveted. They have never been sold, only earned through active participation in Nifty Island.
Historically, owning a Legendary Palm has granted access to powers and perks that extend across Nifty Island. Palm Holders have access to Palm Spryte avatars corresponding to their tiers and unique skins for their B33 drones. During our Play-to-Airdrop (P2A) period, the Legendary Palms played a pivotal role as the only asset capable of instantly elevating a player’s P2A Collector Tier. Palm Holders have also been granted additional Legends NFT drops, including Legendary Pistols and Ultra Blades. Additionally, holders have participated in PalmDAO, an exclusive collective of creators and collectors committed to transforming the finest NFTs into game-ready assets.
Going forward, Palms will continue to be the core NFT asset that defines Nifty Island's inner circle—its most active and veteran contributors. In addition, we are adding more functionality to Palms, enhancing the holder experience within Nifty Island and empowering holders to shape the game world. The following is an initial outline of this vision, with more utility to be layered onto the Palm Holder experience over time.

While we have plans to add much more to provide cosmetic and status benefits to holders in-game, the following are two simple cosmetic perks you can expect around TGE.
As detailed on the Live ISLAND Earnings page, holding Palms contributes to a player's Palm Points total. The more Palm Points a player has, the higher their max possible ISLAND earning cap is during each Rewards Cycle.
As our longest-standing and most passionate players, we want to grant Palm Holders the ability to showcase the content they love. This will start with the ability to vote for islands to be granted featured status on the map in-game (the map is undergoing a rework which will make this power more compelling). Over time, it will expand to the ability to promote Quests and Marketplace content to be featured as well.
